The JORDAN A FELDMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION is a loving and meaningful tribute to Jordan and a continuation of his good name.  Jordan was a huge positive central force to family, friends, and even acquaintances. He was a “giver” in every sense of the word. One of the most important things to Jordan was to instill in his daughters a love of Judaism and of Solomon Schechter Day School. He was a great advocate of Schechter. He was proud to be an alum and excited to be a Schechter parent. When he would be asked “Why Schechter?” Jordan would have many reasons for a Jewish education. But his most constant response would be “it’s a place that will make your kids a mensch.”

 

To honor Jordan and help the school, we have established the Jordan A Feldman Memorial Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship assistance to families who want to attend Solomon Schechter Day School. The funds will be held in perpetuity and yearly distributions will be made from the growth and interest of the fund. 

 

The first distribution has been gratefully already made Summer of 2022, less than one year from first establishing this Fund in Jordan’s memory. We hope you will continue to be part of this meaningful memorial to our beloved Jordan.
